How To Have Guilt-free Desserts

October 28, 2016  :  by Reve C. Abelarde

So you can’t help yourself but get that slice of cake. You know you shouldn’t. Now you’re feeling guilty. Stop!

It’s okay to treat yourself to a lil’ sweet. It’s good for the soul I agree. But you can have your cake, eat it and be guilt-free! How?

Let me share something with you. For generations, the Vietnamese ladies have maintained their figures even with all the delicious food they have. From pho, bahnmi’s and desserts galore. They eat these with gusto but they drink something with it too. It’s a caffeine-free tea made of a fruit called mướpđắng, or in English balsam apple. In western countries, it’s called bitter melon or bitter gourd. In the Philippines, it’s called Ampalaya.

This caught the world’s attention that a scientific study was made. It was proven that this Ampalaya or Momordica charantia Linn has properties that effectively lower the blood sugar.

Your dessert has sugar, then pairing it with a tea that counters the sugar makes perfect sense, doesn’t it? High sugar in the blood is not only unhealthy, it can be dangerous. This may lead to diabetes which carry with it possible complications like heart diseases and cancer.

CHARANTIA® brought the healthy Vietnamese tea practice to the Philippines and the rest of the world. It sliced and roasted the Ampalaya, giving it a nutty aroma that makes it so enjoyable to drink. Making your dessert time, a guilt-free moment.

CHARANTIA® has been helping diabetics all over the world lower their blood sugar for 16 years.
